ABOUT SUNRISE STUDIOS OF MARATHON
Learning, Performing, and Mastering
Sunrise Studios is coming soon to Marathon in 2022!
Founded by Marathon residents Jeff and Patty Dalton, Sunrise Studios is the result of conversations with dozens of Marathon families about the need for music and artistic training in Marathon. With a lifetime of music study, teaching, performing, touring, and recording with artists from around the world, Jeff Dalton founded Sunrise Studios and will work with Marathon's families, students (both young and old alike), and professional Keys musicians to provide music lessons, performances, and events starting in early 2022.
What do you want to learn? We will be starting with:
Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Bass, Drums, Flute, and voice.
We will also be offering toddler drumming, music theory and
recording technology classes, along with college audition preparation, karaoke coaching, and professional recording studio engineering and production.
Our lessons will focus on learning how to be a "total musician," from learning to play, to reading music, proper posture, hand and practice techniques, music theory, music history, and HAVING FUN!
Located right in the center of Marathon, we're getting set up to offer private lessons and small classes, and will have a fully functional recording studio for students and local musicians to learn about recording and record their own
releases.

OUR GRAND PIANO IS HERE!
Our beautiful Weber Grand Piano is here and all set up in Studio A. This fantastic instrument will be available for lessons as well as recording sessions.
THE YAMAHA CLAVINOVA HAS ARRIVED!
This versatile and unique electronic instrument produces grand piano, strings, vibes, church organ, jazz organ, and electric piano sounds, and can be programmed to accompany students as they play. The Clavinova will be available for lessons and recording sessions.

We're busy decorating and setting up our studios now, but soon we'll be ready and you're all invited to our OPEN HOUSE! C'mon by to meet us, tour the studios, get some swag, and learn about all that we're planning. More information coming soon!
